TORREY PINES STATE RESERVE

This spectacular Reserve gets its name from the beautiful Torrey Pines, the rare trees that grow atop the coastal bluffs overlooking miles of beach and the majestic Pacific Ocean. Over 300 other species of trees are found in this botanical paradise.

The dramatic sandstone formations and breathtaking views create a splendid hiking experience for all abilities.

The park features three distinct trails, ranging from one to three hours and from moderate to difficult. Larger groups can choose between two trails. Springtime can bring a brilliant array of wildflowers, while winter visitors may see dolphins or grey whales from the ocean overlooks. For those who wish, it is possible to descend to the beach and even explore the tide pools.

BALBOA PARK

Uncover some of Balboa Park's secret spots during this 90-minute walking tour. Expect to cover some ground but there are no steep hills or stairs to climb, and we walk at a comfortable pace so it's perfect for all fitness levels. From Palm Canyon to the Spanish Art Village, this is a wonderful way to discover some of the park's true, hidden treasures while getting a little exercise.

SECRET CANYONS & BRIDGES (Neighborhoods of Balboa Park)

This is a 4.5-mile guided fitness walk through unique, colorful canyons that’s just minutes away from Balboa Park. During the walk, you’ll see gorgeous, historical homes and walk over two spectacular footbridges that overlook pristine canyons filled with wildflowers, cactus, palm trees and bamboo forests. The walk kicks off in Balboa Park and goes at a comfortable pace so it’s ideal for all fitness levels.

Note: This tour takes you on carved out trails in two canyons that are safe and easy to navigate.

SUNSET CLIFFS/OCEAN BEACH

Explore Sunset Cliffs and a hidden Point Loma beach on an easy 3.5-mile guided walk. Bring your camera for this one! There are spectacular coastal views at every turn!

CORONADO

During this fun walk, you’ll see some of Coronado’s cool, historical landmarks, public art, boutique hotels, cafes, unique shops and yes, the island’s famous beach. An easy 3-mile walk that shouldn’t be missed!

GASLAMP QUARTER: DOWNTOWN WITH A DIFFERENCE

Downtown San Diego is constantly evolving. Our Downtown walking tour takes you beyond the typical tourist destinations to discover new and unique sights.

During this interactive, 2-hour urban adventure, we stroll through fascinating landmarks like the East Village and the historical Gaslamp Quarter. We go back in time to the early 1900’s, when Downtown was known as the Stingaree District.

Highlights include amazing rooftop areas, hip hotels and fun restaurants. If it's available, we'll also include Park at the Park.

5 SECRET BEACH AREAS IN LA JOLLA

Enjoy a nice 3.5 mile walk through spectacular La Jolla and Bird Rock. During this adventure, you’ll see it all, from La Jolla’s jagged coastline to the hip boutique shops. See 5 secret beach areas. Popular lunch spots near here are in the village. There is also a locals' favorite for Mexican food which is near the starting point.
